Niantic Support has announced that raids are being restructured, and that Tier 2 and Tier 4 raids are being discontinued!
- Rewards for one-star raids and three-star raids are increased to what two-star and four-star raids awarded, respectively.

This is huge, to say the least. With each tier removed being absorbed into its previous tier but giving the higher tier's rewards, raids in general are about to become far more lucrative for most players, and raid-solo players are about to see much better rewards, including the guaranteed Charged TM that Tier 4 raids currently have as a bonus!
