Overview
Despite a lack of double-weakness, Kyurem is actually not a very hard raid to duo. It's hit hard by a host of top-tier attackers and has a laundry list of great/must-have Pokemon that can face it down. However, it's also a very polarizing raid due to the fact that virtually everything that is viable for this raid falls into one of two categories: weak to basically everything that Kyurem has, or resistant to basically everything that Kyurem has. For that reason, the color blue is generally your best friend when building a team.
Approach
Team composition
-
Metagross and Shadow Metagross are ridiculously good in this raid. While they may not have the absolute top DPS, they still have a DPS far beyond duo-levels and TDO that puts everything else to shame. Prioritize Metagross and its shadow forme!
-
Lucario, Dialga, and Shadow Gardevoir are generally the best secondary picks, though they tend to have far lower TDO than Metagross without a huge gain in DPS.
-
The big-name dragons can be used as they do have the top DPS, but keep in mind that they will be torn apart by the vast majority of Kyurem's movesets. Best to front-load them, and only use them as filler.
Battling strategy
-
Given the right counters, the clock is not a problem. The real enemy here is fainting out, so reasonable dodging is definitely encouraged.
-
Re-entering will almost definitely be necessary.
Note: "Good" movesets are not necessarily viable at the level indicated.

This is the top counter for this raid. Keeps its base forme's massive TDO and adds to it a huge jump in DPS.
