A long-awaited feature is coming to Pokemon Go, potentially changing the way that we raid forever! Oh, and we're getting stickers, too.
Remote raiding is about to see its full potential realized! In a future update, it's been announced that players will be able to invite up to five players on their friend list to join via remote raid pass regardless of location!
This update is huge, and very exciting to say the least! Players who know each other across long distances will soon be able to join together to battle! This feature will shift the importance of the Pokemon Go friend list, and make adding players a bit more strategic than it has been in the past. Either way, this is exciting and makes us wonder what's coming next!
We still don't know how much of an attack drop remote raiders will take in the future, nor do we know what friendship level will be needed to activate this feature. We do know that this feature will debut after Reshiram leaves the raid scene, meaning Zekrom will likely be a very interesting prospect!
Sticker System
We also have an announcement that we'll soon be able to attach stickers to gifts that we send to other players, giving them a more personal touch. Five stickers are slated for launch, with more coming later, including via the shop. No word as to if this system will have any effect on the contents of gifts yet.
