My friend's one plus works for around 6 to 7 hours of game time? Depends on if you battle gyms or not? That would drain your battery faster w/ animations. He kept his screen on because he didn't have a go plus. I assume a go plus would also help.

Generally the phones with great battery and a 5" screen tend to be the ones with great cameras and bells and whistles.

One hitch: If you want to use the artificial reality mode, your phone needs a gyroscope. These are normally installed in high-end models only. In example, the Galaxy S series does have them, but the Galaxy A series does not.

S7 performs well in sunlight and the battery is really good. Don't get the edge, though. It interferes with gameplay.

I was just out playing Pokemon (and listening to music) and the battery went from 97% to 61% in just over 90 minutes.

Moto Z force. Very large battery, unbreakable screen, fast.

Can even snap a "Moto mod" on the back in 5 secs that will almost double the already good battery and they sell it in the store. Very handy.

S7 active is also good if you are with that carrier. Att I believe.
