Just hatched a Snorlax with 100% IV but terrible moveset
Hi, I'm lvl 32 and today I just hatched a lvl 20 Snorlax with 100% IV, YES NO KIDDING 100% IV, but it got horrible moveset, in fact, the worst possible moveset for attacking gyms which is Zen Headbutt + Earthquake. Snorlax is super rare in my region, I've hatched 3 and ecountered 4 wild Snorlaxes (catched them all) and I've been playing since August 2016. I have around 60 snorlax candies.
What do you think should I do? I'm thinking about selling him when trading comes out since I'm a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to movesets because obviously movesets matter more when IV is anywhere above or equal to 86.7% (my personal opinion).
I have some wild snorlaxes with high CP (so useable to defend or attack gyms) but terrible IV so obviously I won't bother to power them up and one Snorlax which has low CP (744) but good IV (89%) and best possible movesets for attacking gyms (Lick+HB). Which one do you think worth my candies? Or should I wait for another good IV snorlax with zen+HB (best defensive movesets) since snorlax is better as a defender than as an attacker?
Let me know what you guys think and thank you in advance for those who bother to reply

I think you can be happy with the hatched Snorlax and power it up. I stand corrected on this but I think Earthquake is SE into Dragonite and Tyranitar, which are its most common attackers.
EQ is not difficult to dodge, sure, but your Snorlax is a 100% high-CP defensive play and will serve you well in gyms as a defender. And to me, given that they replaced BS with Heavy Slam, Earthquake actually seems to me to be the 2nd best charge move.
If you're pining for a Hyper Beam Snorlax, it is also susceptible to the same downside as your EQ Snorlax, being that HB is also easy to dodge (albeit for HB the attacker still takes some damage, though not very meaningful).
If you don't power up your 100% then your alternative is waaaaaaaiiiiiiitiiiiiing for a 90+% Snorlax and hope that it rolls a better moveset than your current 100% one. That means, it has to roll Z/HB and nothing else. 1/6 chance. Be realistic and consider, is this scenario gonna happen in the next, say, 10 weeks?
NO.
So power it up.
This, I'd say you're lucky to have this pokemon! ZH makes any Snorlax an incredible defender. Power it up and be proud that no one will ask "why did this guy put that in a gym?" :) Edit: You were talking about using him as an attacker... It can still take anything down but he would serve better as a defender that people don't wanna mess with ;)
I have a lick/HB snorlax with 91% IV that started off close to your level as well. Its now level 30 and serves me very well. If you like HB, I think its fun to use. I love my lickHB snorlax especially when I cant recall what counters what, I just use it and beat the crap out of the opponent. But I know not everyone like a lick HB snorlax.
I have a 98%er with the same moveset, and I'm powering him up every chance I get (he's currently at 3052)! A Snorlax with any move set is a better defender than most others. High CP is always an asset in gyms, and that Snorlax will go very high in CP. You are effectively competing against your own team in placing monsters in gyms, and for that moveset doesn't matter.
