Kyarorina, a Pokemon Go Trainer hailing from Japan, become the first player in the history of the game to reach the titanic milestone of one-million Pokemon captures today
Assuming that Kyarorina began playing on the day of Pokemon Go's release, that totals 3 years, 4 months, and 12 days of gameplay, or simply 1,230 days as of November 18, 2019.
This means that in order to each this huge milestone, it would take an average of just over 813 catches per day in order to reach this total, and would result in at least 100,000,000 stardust without factoring in any bonuses. That is enough stardust to max out 444 lv.20 Pokemon to Lv.40. That is a remarkably impressive total, and one that shows just how dedicated some Pokemon Go players can be.
On behalf of the Gamepress staff, we would all like to give a hearty Congratulations to Kyarorina! We will be cheering you on to break 2 million next!
