I was holding on to my 100% Evee and decided to use the name trick for Espeon. I got Confusion/Psy Beam on its moves.
I will definitely level it up. This site ranks the move as A for defence and B for offence. However, I really wanted future sight one because to me Espeon is purely an attacker. My question is how much better is future sight compared to Psy Beam?
I have both Future Sight and Psybeam and believe it or not but I prefer attacking gyms with my PB. It's just personal preferences but I like the 2 bar move with Confusion which is doing the job pretty well and charges the bars very quickly. I like to keep my 2nd bar for the next defender before switching my attacker.
Maybe some will disagree but it's just the way I prefer when it comes to attacking gyms with Espeon.

Confusion is awkward for attacking though if you want to be able to dodge charge moves.
i was blessed by RNGesus with the same exact espeon!! even tho you wanted to use yours as an attacker, i actually use mine on defense. if you max yours out to 36.5Lvl like i did, it will be 2850CP. i put him into new gyms that i solo'ed and after a few hours it still sits decently high up there as people add to it. having prestiged against him many times, i can say it does hit super hard. he is my trophy pokemon and i love showing him off!
