Ideal Umbreon CP for prestiging Espeon?

I have yet to bring up an Umbreon, but have many candidates and candy - just wondering about how well she does vs Espeon in the 2000-2500 CP range? A natural type counter, and I was actually surprised with how well Murkrow did (a niche use for that ugly PKM with double dark moves?). Any experience? Can Umbreon reliably get 1000 prestige, or does she need to be closer to win? I'm only an average dodger. Have not seen or hatched any Houndour dark type to get STAB

I'd probably say in the 1200 range would be ideal.

Don't let Umbreon's low CP fool you : she's tanky so she can stay in the fight long enough to do a lot of damage.
(And CP is such a BS metric that reflects almost nothing about a Pokémon's actual value.)
And there's nothing niche about Murkrow. His Flying-type moves are weak, but with a Dark moveset he's a genuinely good prestiger.

I second the 1200 cp range. My 1800 cp Umbreon takes 2 Eggys/Espeons over 2500 cp with minimal dodging.

According to Totoro's Battle Sim, a 1000 CP Umbreon with Snarl/Foul Play will beat a level 40 3000CP Espeon with C/Psybeam when dodging only charge moves.

This result doesn't surprise me given the ease that my 1500CP Umbreon took down a 2500 Espeon the other day.

I think there are few matchups in which it would be easier to get the 1000 prestige than Umb vs Esp.

I have a 1200 CP S/FP Umbreon and it definitely wrecks psychics. I purposely evolved a mid level eevee with the name trick to get it. So glad I got that move set.
