What to do with Squirtle
I caught a level 29... 93% squirtle, bubble/aqua tail . I know Blastoise got nerfed a while back. I already have a level 33 Blastoise 96% with. wg/hp.
Is the Squirtle more or less a trophy piece? Would a wartortle with an optimum move set be beneficial for a prestige mon? I can get him to around 1300 cp with power ups with minimum candy and dust investment.
Also.. with the new defender update, almost all of my vaps (6) total have went from B level attackers to A level defenders with WG/AT. I was about to evolve a dozen level 25+ eevees in hopes of getting a few more defender vaps. The 1 Vap defender I used level 29 64% has WG/WP. Is this still viable as a defender, or should I can it? My other 5 vaps are level 30,29,28, 28, 21..
73, 80, 77, 71, and 93%. Also 1 level 10 91%.. all with wg/at. Thanks for any input.

Wartortles used to be some of the best prestigers against Rhydon. With the nerf of WG it's outclassed by Ivysaur and Tangela for that job, but it's still a viable use of your Squirtle. Maybe you want to hold on to it in case Blastoise gets Bubble at some point and evolve it then.
Regarding AT Vaporeons they became quite good defenders. A lvl 64% Vaporeon wouldn't last long in a gym in my area, but some of the 70-80% may be worth investing in if they have high atk and def IVs. WP is still usable on defence, but outclassed by AT.
