Confusion Solar Exeggutor is better than Confusion Seedbomb in every aspect

Simulations on pokebattler.com show confusion solar beam exeggutor dishing out more damage as a gym defender than confusion seedbomb. Other sites like goptimiz.fr also show confusion solar beam as better. Anyone else agree with me?

I agree with you that those sites say that.

Sure...as long as it lasts long enough to get SoB to fire. If it dies before a single SoB fires off, then all that spreadsheet dps is fairly useless.

Other sites look at pure dps and think they can make a list.
There is a reason that many consider the GP lists to be far more robust and accurate.

I suggest you go and fight against both in gyms, you'll see which one is the more annoying.

These 2 are the best defensive movesets for Eggy but SeB >SoB due to the fact that AI can spam it very frequently and start firing it after 2 Confusions.

SoB is maybe better than SeB on paper but if you take into account every parameter (and not only pure DPS), SeB performs really better than SoB on defense.

I agree with you, SoB has higher damage but is easier to dodge, SoB arrives with less warnings and hit more frequently

Raw dps maybe, but Seed Bomb is good for players who dodge

Yes Solar Beam is better DPS wise but Exeggutor will easily get killed off by a fire or bug type before it hits out a solar beam.
Seed Bomb will hit at least once or twice before it dies.
Also Seed Bomb is a challenge to dodge whereas many trainers will most likely see solar beam coming from a mile away.
