Landorus - Incarnate Forme's run in the raid scene, formerly set to end on April 21, will now end on April 28.
With the introduction of Landorus - Incarnate Forme, we have officially seen the release of every Legendary Pokemon that Generation 5 has to offer save the Tao Trio and the alternate formes of the Forces of Nature.
Since we've just now finishing our run of the Incarnate Formes of the Forces of Nature with Landorus - Incarnate, it seems unlikely that the Therian Formes will follow so close. This means that our next Tier 5 raid boss is virtually guaranteed to be a re-run of a previous Legendary or the beginning of the Tao Trio.
Legendary Rerun
As of right now, we are still owed Aeroblast Lugia, haven't seen the shiny releases for Dialga, Palkia, or Giratina - Origin Forme, and are now expecting Sacred Sword and Shiny Formes for Terrakion and Virizion, just to name a few. A short-lived run of any of these Pokemon or multiple in tandem is definitely possible.
The Tao Trio
This is a very exciting prospect! Reshiram is set to be the new king of Fire Types (not including Shadows), Zekrom is going to rule Electric Types (again; not including shadows) and can pull double-duty as a Dragon Type, and Kyurem's more powerful formes are looming very heavy on the meta. They all have the potential to make huge waves in both the Raid meta and the Master League in particular, and could be an extremely exciting way to finish up Spring, enter Summer, and keep us playing through the looming pandemic.
Remote Raiding
It's coming soon, and this schedule change could be a clue. Perhaps they needed to push it back a bit, and want to release something exciting along-side the new update? While we have no confirmation, this seems at least semi-plausible at this point!
Regardless of what comes next, this change of schedule could be a real reason to anticipate the coming weeks. In the mean-time, keep an eye on our Events Page for more information on upcoming and ongoing events in Pokemon Go!
