The penultimate Go Fest event for 2022 is almost here, and while the bulk of the festivities may be focused in Japan, that doesn't mean that the rest of the world has to go empty-handed. Alongside Go Fest: Sapporo and its regionally limited release of the Ultra Beast Xurkiree, it's our job to get out there and work toward the big goal. We've got Ultra Unlocks for two different events, so let's get ready to get to work, and hopefully Xurkitree will make its global debut soon.
Go Fest Sapporo + Global Challenge

During the event, players across the globe will work together to complete Field Research. Doing so will enable the Ultra Unlocks for the Bug Out and Galarian Zigzagoon Community Day events, improving both events as a result.
During this time, players will be able to enjoy 2x Catch Stardust for the duration of the event, as well as a Collection Challenge that will require players to catch the following before the end of the event:

Get ready! While Trainers in Japan take on local challenges at Pokémon GO Fest: Sapporo, Trainers around the globe will be tasked with completing a Global Challenge. You can join the fun—wherever you are! If successful, all Trainers will get to enjoy upgraded bonuses during the upcoming Bug Out! event happening from Wednesday, August 10, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. to Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at 8:00 p.m. local time. Plus, additional bonuses will be unlocked for Galarian Zigzagoon Community Day on Saturday, August 13, 2022! Read on for more details.
Global Challenge
A special Global Challenge will kick off alongside Pokémon GO Fest: Sapporo on Friday, August 5, 2022, at 8:00 a.m. (GMT +9). You can participate from anywhere!
Join forces with Trainers around the world to complete Field Research to unlock the following.
* 2× Stardust for catching Pokémon during the remainder of the Global Challenge period, ending on Sunday, August 7, 2022, at 8:00 p.m. (GMT +9).
* Ultra Unlock: Bug Out from Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. to Tuesday, August 16, 2022, at 8:00 p.m. local time.
* Ultra Unlock: Galarian Zigzagoon Community Day on Saturday, August 13, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. local time.Collection Challenge

A selection of Pokémon appearing at Pokémon GO Fest: Sapporo will also appear in the wild around the world. Keep an eye out for Paras, Bellsprout, Hoppip, Sunkern, Sunshine Form Cherrim, and Cottonee during the event. Catch them all to complete this Collection Challenge!
