The time has come! Mega Evolution, the formerly controversial system that has recently started genuinely shaking up Pokemon Go, is finally about to hit Go Battle League!
...for one day.
Okay, so they're only joining us in Go Battle League for a single Go Battle Day event, but that doesn't change the fact that this is an actual start. If we're seeing them now, it's nearly a forgone conclusion that they'll be back if this works out well, so now is the perfect time to start working on those optimal Mega Evolutions.

- 4x Stardust from wins
- Mega Evolutions will be allowed in the Go Battle League for the first time
- The maximum number of sets available for the day will be raised from 20 to 100
- Any player who completes a set in Go Battle League during these hours will be given the pants from the Gladion avatar set that has previously been available from Go Battle League rewards
- Players who already have this avatar item will not receive any additional rewards.
