With the return of all four Deoxys formes, we have a renewed need for Dark, Ghost, and Bug Types takes center-stage. The most valuable of the three is definitely going to be Defense Forme due to its presence in PvP, so trying to predict what moveset you'll be facing and switching up your team to match can be imprtant, as some of its moves are pretty dangerous to its would-be counters.

Fighting and Fairy don't have any weakness overlap, and these two don't gain a Steel Tying until their Crowned formes, so patching up your raid group for this duo is going to require a two-pronged offensive. If Zacian is your goal, then Steel Types are your best bet with Poison trailing a bit behind in most cases. Zamazenta, meanwhile, is countered hardest by Psychic Types due to their sheer power, though Flying is still great, and Fairy can work as well.

Dialga can be a fairly daunting raid due to its high stats and lack of weaknesses, but the Pokemon that do counter it can generally keep up very high damage. Keeping with the strongest Fighting Types is the general way to go, with a few of the strong Ground Types to fill in the gaps/step up to the plate when it's sunny.

The name of the game is Rock Types, as that double-weakness is extremely valuable. Even lesser counters have the potential to be useful here thanks to that weakness, so going with lesser counters can still occasionally line up quick clears.

Zapdos only has two weaknesses; Ice and Rock. In terms of this list, Ice tends to have higher DPS, while Rock tends to have stronger TDO, though both are perfectly valid.

Groudon's a bit of a tough raid due to its great coverage moves and solid bulk. Most of the Pokemon that deal Super Effective damage can be countered by one of Groudon's moves, meaning this can be a risky raid for the unprepared. However, Groudon's moves are also slow and easy to dodge, so they're not quite as threatening as it would seem. Regardless, Ground has a number of weaknesses to exploit, so having a few different options can be very helpful.

The Tapu quartet shares a single weakness in Poison, making Poison Types the most universally useful for this raid period. While each Tapu can radically change the viability of these counters, they're all at least usable reliably in each of these raids.

The final member of the Tapu quartet has a great typing in Water/Fairy, leaving us with only so many options. Electric, Poison, and Grass are our options, so we at least have a few strong types to capitalize on here. On that note, Grass Types will generally have the most overall consistent performance due to resisting Water, but most Grass Types also have to watch out for Ice Beam

Mega Kangaskhan hates Fighting Types, and Landorus - Therian Forme hates Ice and Water Types, so no real cross-over here. In general, Landorus will be the more useful of the two, so it might be a good idea to prepare your teams accordingly.
