New Community Day Announcement - Chimchar
On August 7th, 2019, Niantic officially announced the date and Pokemon for November 2019 Community Day!
The Community Day event will take place on November 16, 2019, and will feature Chimchar, the Fire-type starter from Generation 4.
The date in the announcement is set for 11 AM to 2 PM in your local timezone.
The Community Day exclusive move is likely to be Blast Burn, a powerful Fire-type charged move that was featured in the Community Days for Charizard, Typhlosion, and Blaziken.
The previous Community Day starter Pokemon Blaziken and Swampert also received a movepool addition with Blaze Kick and Muddy Water respectively, which are those Pokemon's signature moves.
The announcement also confirms that the 1/4 egg hatch bonus will be available for the event.
