How are level 4 raids in your area?

In my area most level 4 raids are very well attended, at least 10 people will be waiting at a raid egg 10 minutes before it hatches. If it hatches to a starter or Rhydon, they will go for the next raid egg they see on the tracker.
Level 4 raids, especially Tyranitar, Lapras and Snorlax ones, are very well attended. Every single lobby in a Tyranitar raid has more than 10 people, if it's in a housing estate.
So, many people who play in groups use Poliwraths with fighting or water moves, as there are enough people which makes up for Poliwrath's lower attack stat and Poliwrath resists all of Tyranitar's moves.
I also use Poliwraths if there are more than 15 people, and Tyranitar still drops like a fly. I have also seen quite a few other people using Poliwraths.

Rural player here. I have never met anyone joining me in raids, so I mostly do Lvl 1 & 2 only. Tried level 3 solo but no chance due to network errors, connection issues and deathloops/dodge bugs. My squad should be good enough from what I have read so far. If gyms aren't fixed soon to run more smoothly, I need to quit.

I have been to 10 level 4 raids and have been the only person at ANY of them.
4 T'Tar, 2 Snorlax, 2 Lapras, and 1 each Venusaur and Charizard.
Totally disappointing!

Depends on the time of day, how accessible to cars. Level 4s: I've comfortably done 2 ttars, 1 snorlax, 1 vensusaur, 1 Rhydon, 1 Charizard. I don't check any maps/trackers/social media just the ones near me or one I drive near to. I tried to will my way to a Lapras w/ WG/Blizz midday yesterday. Me and a handful of 25-26's, it takes some coordination if you don't have the overpowering muscle. We were playing from our cars and just hurrying up to rejoin the lobby, not potioning up, etc. So can take some actual interaction to be successful. Frustrating b/c the auto lineup never included Jolteon or Magnetons--I have tons of electric options but they never came up. My phone isn't real responsive to potioning and lineup changes

I was in two Snorlax raids by me. The first time there were 4 of us. We lost pretty bad. I also didn't have the Pokemon that I do now. The second time there were 11 people in the lobby. It was the 4th of July weekend. For the most part, I only attend level 4 raids in Manhattan. You're GUARANTEED 10 people in the lobby. It's insane.

Suburban area. When a level 4 would come up I'd go there and sit till it hatched. If it was something good I'd wait for others but not a single person would show the entire time. After 4 times I no longer go to the level 4's

Lapras - Almost 10 players (didnt use my 2nd account)

Charizard - Almost 10 players (didnt use my 2nd account)

Charizard - group of 5 ppl (main account)
Same boss - group 4 and used my secondary account and many failed attemps until we got 2 more players just 5min before boss disappear and got boss down.

Rhydon - Almost 10 players (didnt use second account)

Rhydon - group of 4
(in this case i would use my both accounts but i alrdy soloed level 3 boss with both accounts and my secondary account dont have coins to buy raid pass)
So we wait 1 more ppl and then succesfully take down boss. (for my main account which has coins)

A nominal backup character, like when you would take down a level 10 gym and put your lonely Snorlax in as gym leader. Some would back him up with something able to be prestiged, then prestige the 2nd character to help teammates build a gym and slow your opponents from reclaiming. Gyms changed and he found another use for it when in a pinch.

I have been to a lapras 2 people showed up. And I have been to a Tyranitar and 1 showed up. See raids aren't to OP.

People chat in a whats app group. When somewhere in town a 3er or 4er raid takes place, we discuss who would come and when the raid will finally start.

In the late afternoon and evening, for a lapras, machamp, snorlax or tyranitar, there are sufficient players garanteed, sometimes we have to split.

90% of the time there is no one there, only 6-9pm on Friday and Saturday in popular areas can you just show up at hatch time and expect to see people. Facebook group or other method is required most of the time.

Singapore is one of the 'best' places to play PoGo now with the raids being so crowded and gyms flipping fast.
We have seen many new players here, likely spoofers from all over the world.
