Golem moveset

I have 2 golems both 84% IV and both have the moveset of MudSlap/Rock blast:
1635CP - 10/15/13
1625CP - 14/11/13
Its moveset is rated as an A for defending and other than the usual top 7 gym mons his max CP is pretty high, but he does have double weknesses so it worth maxing him out or even to just level 30? If so which one or should i just not invest in one at all?

He is not a great defender due to the double weakness and on pare base stats so I would just wait for another one.

Another one as in better moveset (the other A-rated ones) or another one with higher IV?

He is not a very strong defender, but his RT/SE moveset makes for a good attacker.
Save your candy and try for the best rock moveset in the game.

I have two of these maxed, and they DESTROY dragonites! Love them.

mud slap does pretty great dmg on defence, golems are often underestimated, but at the end of the day rhydon is better and even then the extremely common vaperon can kill them before they get a charge move off. this will never change so save your stardust.

Yeah i agree he is underestimated hes pretty strong and you're right about rhydon being better, thanks for the input !
