Motivation loss and gym badges

It seems like pokemon lose motivation slower when you have a gold gym badge. Can anyone confirm that?

What are you basing this on?
I have seen no evidence of that at all.

Not based on a lot of data - but I placed 9 pokemon in gyms today - the last one in a gym with bronze medal, the others in silver or gold. I notised that the bronze seems to be loosing motivation faster than the others.

It might be because the last pokemon was slightly higher cp than the rest (~2700) or someone is feeding all of the other 8?

I am starting to think that the higher the starting CP, then the faster you lose motivation - but that is nothing more than personal observation and based on nothing more than a guess.

Ok - then there must be something else making the heart become black faster: someone attacking the gym giving just a little damage or the others beeing feed. With a dataset of just 1 bronze gym, I value your observations higher than mine.
