Machamp Solo Attempt...
.... soooo close, but not enough obviously. I tried 5 times with the following counters. His charge move was Close Combat (which is supposed to be the easiest?)
Espeon CP 2559 - lvl 31.5 - Conf/Future Sight
Eggy CP 2618 lvl 34.5 Confusion / Solar Beam
Eggy CP 2573 lvl 33 Extrasensory / Sol Bm
Eggy CP 2383 lvl 30 Extrasensory / Sol Bm
Eggy CP 2075 lvl 26 Extrasensory / Sol Bm *
Dnite CP 3348 lvl 37.5 Dragon Tail / Hurricane
Do you think it can be done? I never had more than 172-174 seconds. In one attempt, his health bar returned to yellow from red... no network errors though.
I know I need another Espeon and to power up Zam, but I don't have any supreme legendary counters (nor am I likely to get them).
Any suggestions? You can just pick a number:
Your phone (Galaxy S5) is too old You don't have any appropriate counters, might as well use blissey So you think you know something 'cause you made it to level 37 - but let's face it you're just a high level noob. Maybe try Candy Crush? Stop feeling sorry for yourself and keep trying! _______________________ (fill in the blank)Thanks for reading and for any advice!

two many eggs
I have 3 hard hitting psychics to get me ahead of time my egg (C/Sb) and dragons (2* dt/hu) keep me on time but don't think they pull me forward.
on C/DP i sometimes need a couple of goes
on ?/Cc it's usually about trying to set PBs on clearance time.
Grab yourself a couple of high cp eevees and spend a couple of days walking them and or power that kazam.
Or wait a few days and hope mewtwo is released (will probably take the place of my egg and or my 80% kazam)
Yeah the damage of getting off a third charged attack can be the make or break and will more than compensate the damage lost by a couple seconds or fast attack damage, from my experience. Especially with that many solar beam exeggutors; I loathe solar beam in raids due to the 100 energy cost and the ~5s cooldown
You're pretty close. I definitely would favor that 2nd DT/H Dragonite over the weakest Exeggutor, and the level 30 Eggy probably needs to be swapped out as well. If you could power up the Zam to its breakpoint against the Machamp boss (somewhere between lvl 27.5 - 30.5, depending on its attack IV), and get another solid Espeon (doesn't necessarily need to be super high IV, just evolve a decent high-level Eevee, preferably with a high attack IV), you should be good to go.
I did a Machamp a couple of weeks ago, and I didn't think it was that hard (succeeded on the first try, maybe 10-15 seconds left) and my team wasn't much stronger than yours. Maybe I got lucky with his moveset. I'm going from memory, but I think I used:
3099 DT/H Dragonite
2854 C/P Exeggutor
and four of the following five (can't recall which):
2583 ZH/PB Espeon
2523 C/P Espeon
2507 ZH/FS Espeon
2598 C/P Alakazam
2470 PC/P Alakazam
Keep at it, you'll get it soon.
I had 2 Snolax(CP 2.5k and 2.4k) both with Zen Headbutt and HB and 2 Alakazam(CP 2K for both) one with Psycho Cut and Future Sight and the other with Confusion and Future Sight another Lugia(CP 2044) with Dragon tail and Future Sight and a vaporeon (CP 2769) with water gun and aqua tail. I can only do it with 2 ppl. I also got a lot of lag kills when I was doing it. Don't feel too bad about yourself.
Honestly your squad probably can do more DPS on a Machamp however I am able to solo any Machamp regardless of moves. Have attempted to cut down my original essay to main points only.
- Dragon Tail/Hurricane Dragonites have better DPS on Machamp than Executor's with Extrasensory of comparable level and IVs. Get your Dragonites in sooner to do more damage.
- Include a finisher with a 2 bar charge move that still has good DPS on Machamp. Examples include DT/O Dragonite or SC/SB Gengar (if you have one SC is legacy). Their purpose is when the clock is approach the end ~ 20 seconds you can get more 2 bar charge moves off before the timer runs out than if it is a 1 bar. 70% charge on a solar beam is no good if the clock hits zero with Machamp on 3% health.
Proposed order of your Pokemon:
1. Espeon
2. Executor with Confusion
3. Dragonite Level 37.5
4. Dragonite Level 33
5. Executor level 33
6. (2 bar finisher)
If you don't get to your two bar finisher or have very little time left when you get to it to not make an impact move it up to number 5.
Also in case you experience the glitch in which seconds after using a charge move the bar completely refills again: DON'T make a second attempt to use the move. It has registered but has been slow to update the server. A few seconds later it will update with damage from charge move and charge bar being correct. When you get this glitch you have to trust the first attempt registered and spam your fast attack. Otherwise you lose too much time and don't build energy to next charge move. 95% of the time everything is corrected after about 3 seconds.
Finally forget dodging. There isn't the time to waste on it and with the Dragonites in there you should have enough bulk to not lose all 6 pokemon before the end.
If your S5 is too old, I don't want to know what that makes my S4, lol. Read this thread with great interest because this is where I am. Just finished walking an Eevee to get a second Espy, but it's only level 20. So today I caught a level 30 in the wild so I'm walking again. It's always something! Good luck!
Too many eggs.
Definitely want a strong alakazam in tbe mix.
I wouldnt mind a strong 2nd myself for my machamp team...but i would say having one as your first attacker is essential.
Other than that...more espeons yeah, as others have said. They are easy to come by, find a decent IV higher level Eevee and just walk it, luckily we have that trick to guarantee a espeon over and over.
Ive started using a gengar in my line up because it feels good to use, his speed with shadoe claw makes dodging everything very do-able so he actually can survive for ages
