Just came back from the craziest zap raid

All 11 of us caught it on the first throw! We cheered like we just lost our virginity and won the lotto at the same dam time. What a holy shit experience. To top it off mine was the highest I've gotten so far at 1886 (14/14/14). Anyone else have this happen or is this just a freak thing?

It's almost statistically impossible so either you are lying or it was a bug.

Assuming an average of 10% chance for each one to catch it means 0.1^11 probability for everyone to catch it at first throw, which equals 0,00000000001 or one billionth of a percent.

I agree, highly improbable that it happened.

it happened. and let me rephrase. it was caught on the first land. my buddy completely botched his first throw as it never hit zap. his second throw which landed was a catch.

You can believe it or not. But for me it was a pretty cool day. cheers!

ah. i'm still struggling to believe it myself but i thinki made a critical catch on a zaptos. been searching the web to see if critical catches are possible on legendaries.

I just came back from a raid and all 20 of us caught the Zapdos on the last ball with a critical catch!

Still had this tab open from a few days ago. & I got a critical catch on a 5 star raid boss yesterday- 80% regice. 8 premier balls. 1st throw got him.
I was actively thinking "this will b perfect to finish both my 3 great curveball throws in a row" (1 for 1k dust, other was onix).
Sure enough, critical catch didn't help complete the research.
They should indicate pkm caught that way. Put a start next to the ball where it says caught or hatched/city/date
Edit: 3 months later now (idk HOW i stumbled across this post of mine again) i got another critical catch last week, on mewtwo. Was my last ball, & happened at the same time as someone else. Wasn't his last ball, but still
